DAY 2: HALONG BAY – SUNG SOT CAVE – HANOI (B/L/-)

The day starts early on board with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi, also called Tai chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements.
Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.
08.00 – 11.30
Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most biggest cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended.
Back to Glory Legend Cruise. Check out and settle your bill at reception.
Have a buffet brunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. Relaxing on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery while approaching the wharf.
Disembark to Tuan Chau Wharf. Say goodbye to the crew.

Transfer to day boat for visiting Cua Van village, a small community with around 700 residents living in the root of Ngoc Mountain. Visit Cua Van village by a rustic – row boat, meet the local people who will help you row the boat for sightseeing. Enjoy quiet space and fresh air, you will feel truly relaxing.
Visiting Me Cung Cave, which is also known as Maze Cave. Lying in the absolute protection of the World Natural Heritage – Halong Bay, Me Cung has the complex structure, including many compartments and a corridor of around 100m. According to archaeologists, Me Cung Cave belongs to preliminary Halong culture, about 7,000 – 10,000 years ago. The cave entrance looks like a house roof carving deep into the slopes of the island. Walking into the inside, visitors may get the feelings as if they are entering in a great palace of a Persian King. In combination with the light shining from the outer, sparkling stalactites in diverse shapes and sizes drooping like multi-colored curtains make Me Cung Cave shimmering and fanciful like in paradise. In addition, the blue waters of Me Cung Lake inside the cave create picturesque beauty of nature.

We stayed for 3D2N and were pretty satisfied with this cruise. The staff does an excellent job to keep everyone happy. The program is also very good. You will see some amazing things. It is worth mentioning the food. It is absolutely amazing and you won’t go to bed feeling hungry. If we are to complain about one thing it would be that each room is only provided with 2 small bottles of water a day. If you want more (which is necessary in hot conditions) you are forced to buy a bottles for 35000 VND each. Other than that the Glory Legend Cruise is highly recommendable.
For the trip around Ha Long Bay, we recommend the Glory Cruise as a wonderful experience and good value for money. It is the right size boat for an intimate experience. We especially recommend two nights, because it allows a full day of sightseeing, relaxing and socializing with other passengers. We needed this after the bus trip on the first morning and then an afternoon that packed in several activities. The crew were very friendly and helpful. The tour guides spoke good English and told us lots about Vietnam and the Bay, without overloading us. The food was varied and good, though of course not of 5 star restaurant quality.
We got our booking for Glory cruise. On reaching and two days with Glory, we had the better than best value of our money. I have already recommended it to my cousin sister who will be going to Halong with her husband later in this month only. The cruise staff definitely the main reasons for our memorable experience. They always rendered what we asked and looked happy to help. About the cruise, it was clean and maintained in all areas. The bathroom was luckily not a problem. It normally becomes a problem for most of the cruises. The cruise has a special area where you can have your breakfast and can enjoy the smooth sailing of the cruise. Certainly a recommended cruise.
Glory what I call a perfect cruise. I along with my family could have a wonderful cruising experience in Halong bay only. It took us everywhere in the bay and gave us the opportunity to see things form close proximity. We found it a well maintained cruise right from the welcome cocktail when we got on board from the moment we finally said bye the next day. The people working on board are excessively friendly and helpful. Accommodation was well cared and not to forget, breakfast, lunch and dinner everything was delicious.
Did an overnight trip on Glory Cruise with my pregnant wife and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are not spacious, ad with, all boats, but well appointed. My favorite part is the small oriental style window in the rain shower that allows u to look out (but obviously doesn’t allow others to look in). There aren’t as many rooms as some of the other boats which makes it less crowded and a little more exclusive. Very friendly and helpful staff, good service, and particularly attentive to the fact that my wife was pregnant. Wonderful people on board running the show. The itinerary is nothing wow-ing as it’s mostly the standard activities u find on any other cruise, but still well executed. Dinner and beers on the large top deck was lovely.
