DAY 1: HANOI – HAI PHONG – LAN HA BAY – BA TRAI DAO ISLETS – LAN HA BAY (-/L/D)
8:00 – 8:30 You will be greeted at your hotel to take the new highway to Got Ferry Terminal, Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City (if book our shuttle bus). You will travel on the longest bridge in Southeast Asia and be greeted at our lounge before boarding.
12:30 Board the Heritage Cruises boat and enjoy a welcome drink as you receive a cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in to your suite. Lunch is served at L’Indochine Restaurant.
12:40 Cruise to Da Chong islet, where you can see a heritage lighthouse built by the French more than 100 years ago. After lunch, cruise to Gia Luan Lagoon where limestone karst formations rise out of the sea. This quiet bay is untouched and remote, as not many cruise ships visit.
15:30 The cruise vessel approaches the Ba Trai Dao or Three Peach beaches in Lan Ha Bay, a natural frontier between the provinces of Halong and Haiphong. This secret hideaway has beaches, caves, and coves, plus the spectacular natural beauty of about 400 islands. Guests can try kayaking or simply swim in the clear waters of the bay.
17:30 Back on Heritage Cruises, enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and with a cocktail in hand watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.
18:30 Activities include afternoon tea and wine tasting, and the chef will lead a Vietnamese cookery class.
19:30 A memorable dining experience will be offered at the restaurant, with local food in an intimate and romantic setting.
21:30 Enjoy evening views of the bay at the bar on the top deck. Try your hand squid fishing, or watch a movie in the restaurant. The bars are open until late.
DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – DARK AND BRIGHT CAVE – HAI PHONG – HANOI (B/L/-)

6:15 Practise Vovinam on the sundeck at sunrise, followed by coffee, tea, and pastries.
8:30 Transfer to a speedboat to visit Viet Hai Village. Take a bicycle ride or electric car through a rainforest tunnel that leads to a rice-field vista. Visit a traditional house in a village deep in a national park where you can observe the lifestyle of the local people and enjoy lunch in the village. Back to the speedboat to visit Lan Ha Bay.
13:30 Visit Lan Ha Bay where you can go bamboo boating, kayaking or swimming at Ba Ham Lake, enclosed by vertical cliffs (if the weather permits).
17:30 Back on Heritage Cruises, enjoy life aboard the vessel or in your suite, and with a cocktail in hand watch the sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. The chef will lead a Vietnamese cookery class.
19:30 Enjoy a fine-dining experience in the main restaurant.
21:30 Welcome the night at the bar on the top deck, or try squid fishing or watch a movie under the stars. The bars are open late.
DAY 3: LAN HA BAY- DARK AND BRIGHT CAVE – HAI PHONG – HANOI (B/L/-)

The Free of Charge (FOC) rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with 2 (two) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
Peak season surcharge: Applied for Christmas Eve, New Year Eve and Lunar New Year (30 Dec, 1-3 Jan in Lunar Calendar) 30 USD per person per night.

My boyfriend and I booked 2 nights on Heritage Cruise. The scenery is amazing and the bay is very calm for swimming and kayaking. The only thing is that there were quite a lot of children on our trip that we cannot control the noise and the buffet meals are a bit messy. Anyway, Lan Ha Bay is worth visiting.
Lan Ha Bay is pretty. We love the trip to Dark – Bright Cave but it would be best if we could kayak there as well. Food was a bit cold.
Everything was okay. The staff is friendly. Cabin is well-equipped.
The bay is calm and magnificent. We booked 2 nights and really expected on the second day. It was a but chaotic at first and the staff should have informed guests to bring some money to buy water during the day or provided guests with free bottles of water because it was very hot and sunny. Food on board was okay.
We went on Heritage BinhChuan cruise for 1 night. Lan Ha Bay is very nice. We went kayaking at a peaceuful water area. We love swimming in the bay. Food on board was nice but we prefer the set menu dinner rather than buffet. The food in the buffet should be more quickly served. Staff is friendly.
