DAY 1: HANOI – HAI PHONG – LAN HA BAY – AO ECH (-/L/D)
09h10 AM: You will be collected from Hanoi Old Quarter by luxury sharing van to take the new highway to Got Ferry Terminal – Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City where we arrive at around 11h30 AM. The passengers have a chance to experience on longest and newest bridge in South East Asia area. You can take special tea at Orchid Premium Cruises lounge by warm welcome.
12h15 PM: Transfer by tender to the ORCHID PREMIUM CRUISES.
12h30 PM: We welcome our guests onboard the ORCHID PREMIUM CRUISES and then check in, enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Lan Ha Bay.
13h00 PM: Deluxe lunch set menu is served in the dinning room at the first floor
14h15 PM: We progress to visit Viet Hai village on Cat Ba island. You will take the bicycle trip along the village path and go through rain forests and dark tunnel. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo…you will have chance to see the local life on a valley of local people.
Optional electric car service is available (included).
17h45 PM: Returning ORCHID PREMIUM CRUISES, you can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and passengers have a chance to view whole beautiful Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay during enjoying outdoor Jacuzzi on the top deck. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class and enjoy deluxe afternoon tea. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. In the early evening the boat has its Happy Hour deal.
19h30 PM: Sumptuous Candlelight Deluxe A La Carte is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. This is a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting
21h30 PM: Enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck. Relax whilst enjoying drinks from the bar. Try your hand at night squid fishing, watching a movie in the restaurant. Overnight on board at Tra Bau area.
23h00 PM: End of Day One program
DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – AO ECH – HAI PHONG – HANOI (B/L/D)
06h15 AM: Why not rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck; after which we serve the breakfast. Upon completing breakfast continue our journey and head out to explore the bay in the area where Frog Lake is situated.
7h45 AM: You enjoy on your own for kayaking at Frog Lake area to discover the hidden charm of Lan Ha Bay
9h30 AM: Come back on board and it is time for checking out
10h00 AM: While cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch
10h30 AM: Tea Ceremony is served at the restaurant. You will learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese cultural at this ceremony. Joining Tea Ceremony with our crews team and have great fun with us!
11h35 AM: We return to the quay side in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark. We bid farewell at GOT ferry, this is the end of the program.
Around 14h00 AM: Back to your drop-off point in Hanoi. End of the trip.

The Free of Charge (FOC) rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with 2 (two) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
Children from 4-11 will pay extra charge 75% of adult rate.
Children 12 and above must pay full fare as adult.
Peak season surcharge: Applied for Christmas Eve, New Year Eve and Lunar New Year (30 Dec, 1-3 Jan in Lunar Calendar) 30 USD per person per night.

From 15 to 29 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates

Incredible! The whole experience of this cruise is one to remember. Myself and a group of 8 friends took this cruise for 1 night in July and couldn’t have been happier. From the beauty of the boat and rooms right down to the service and staff, everything was exceptional! Thankyou to Ronald, Jerry, Andy and Ben Who took care of us very well on our trip.
The whole trip is very well organised and is filled with lots of fun activities like kayaking/ cooking demo etc. The food was delicious and plentiful with fantastic vegetarian/vegan options too. The rooms are beautiful and large, very clean and with breathtaking views throughout the journey.
Overall, I have to rate this cruise 5 stars as the only negative is I that wish I could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend this very special experience. I hope to do it again one day.
What an incredible experience! We did a 2 day 1 night cruise and I couldn’t recommend it more. From the time we arrived at boat until the time that we left, we were treated like kings.
The attention to detail on the boat was outstanding and the amenities, food, drinks as well as service was top class.
A special shout out to the crew who looked after us. Ronal, Andy, Ben and Jerry were legends from start to finish! From someone who has worked in hospitality in the past these men really know how to make you feel special and are amazing at what they do. They have outstanding knowledge on the history and culture of the various sites that you see along the way.
Always have a smile on their face and happy to joke and laugh with you while still maintaining a professional work ethic.

We were looking at booking the orchid cruise but saw that they were opening a premium version of the cruise right when we visited so we decided to give it a try. We loved it and will definitely be coming back! There are only 5 cabins on this cruise, all of them high end, so the cruise does not feel crowded at all. All of the rooms have great balconies that are large enough for 4 people to be outside. The manager Ha and his staff are very attentive and friendly. The food was great and chefs are very good. For dinner they hired a musician to come play while we were eating. This cruise is definitely worth the extra money you spend as you get better service, rooms, privacy, food, and a much more relaxing and customized experience! This cruise is a must if you want the most memorable experience in ha long bay!
